Strong Alone. Stronger Together.
We are the Nomadic Legion.
We are not bound by one village, one continent, or one leader. We are bound by something stronger: oath, strength, and purpose.
Every warrior of the Legion is expected to forge their own strength. Build your villages. Raise your armies. Learn your enemy. Become the kind of opponent who can stand alone when the horns of war sound.
A lone Viking prepared for battle is dangerous.
A shield wall of them is something else entirely.
Within the Legion, no warrior fights truly alone. Our armies reinforce one another. Our resources strengthen the villages that need them most. Our scouts carry knowledge from one end of our territory to the other. When one member discovers weakness in an enemy, the entire Legion learns of it.
We do not waste strength competing among ourselves for every scrap of land. When a valuable village appears, we decide who can use it best. When one of our warriors is threatened, shields gather around them. When an enemy stands against us, we do not answer with a single army.
We answer with the Legion.
Our defensive lines will become shield walls that are costly to break. Our offensive armies will strike together like raiders arriving from every horizon. Fakes will darken the enemy's command screen, scouts will expose their weaknesses, and our nobles will follow behind the armies until their banners disappear from the map.
There will be warriors among us who prefer the spear and shield. Others will build armies meant to burn through walls and break villages. Some will grow the economy that feeds our campaigns. Some will gather intelligence and coordinate the battlefield.
Different weapons.
Different roles.
One warband.
We will expand steadily, choosing our ground instead of scattering ourselves across the world. Territory gained by one member strengthens the position of those around them. Village by village, our warriors will grow closer, our borders harder, and our ability to support one another greater.
Leadership within the Legion is not a throne.
It is a responsibility.
Ideas are welcomed. Information is shared. Experience is passed from veteran warriors to newer ones. Every member should become stronger because they joined us—and the Legion should become stronger because they are here.
Those who fight beside us will find loyal allies.
Those who leave us in peace will find reasonable neighbors.
Those who mistake cooperation for weakness will discover why warriors have gathered beneath the same banner.
For alone, each of us intends to become formidable.
But when the horns sound and the shields lock together—
we become the Nomadic Legion.
