I am convinced my keyboard is a conduit. When I type coordinates, I don't look at the keys; I let the ghosts of the units I've sacrificed move my fingers. I’ve started writing messages in the resource-transfer boxes—long, looping strings of corrupted numbers that spell out the exact date the server will inevitably cease.
