Back in June 2003, before mobile apps and polished interfaces, three friends—Hendrik and Eike Klindworth and Michael Zillmer—launched Die Stämme.
The beginning was simple: one small medieval village, three resources, a handful of troops, a tribe—and a map full of enemies.
That village grew into Tribal Wars.
I play for the part that never changed:
Resources are meant to be spent.
Troops are meant to march.
Walls are meant to fall.
Villages are meant to be conquered.
And great players fight for their tribe.
I respect the old ways—late-night noble trains, perfectly timed snipes, backtimes, fake attacks, forum diplomacy and alarms set for an incoming landing at 3:17 in the morning.
Now the old traditions continue on US 87.
A noble with vinegar in his veins.
Cavalry at his back.
Rams at the gate.
Catapults on the horizon.
And enough axes to open any jar.
Play fair. Support the tribe. Honour your word.
But when the banner turns red—bring a bigger army.
DILL PICKLE Dominant by strategy. Playful by nature. Pickled for war.
